BOYS IN THE BIG YARD
Bobby (the bigger boy with more hair, and Marcus, the smaller boy, have been happy to play in their own yard.

CELEBRATING THE NEW YEAR
The girls are limited to the small yard as long as Journey remains in heat. They still get to enjoy fence running with the boys. Bader has more white and is a bit smaller than Journey who has more red markings. FENCE RUNNING

MANAGING GIRLS IN HEAT
When Statesman moved from Illinois to Georgia it was planned to have two fenced yards with two entrances. This works very well when a female is in heat and needs to remain separated from the boys. These videos show the boys in the big yard with the girls in the small yard. The boys, Marcus and Bobby, are on the left, with the girls, Bader and Journey, on the right. They all get some good exercising done with the fence running.

JOURNEY HAS BEEN BRED
Statesman's Just Imagine "Journey" was bred today to WyldWynd's In The Company of Masters "Bobby". She will have an ultrasound in four weeks to determine if she is pregnant or not. If she is pregnant the litter will be due around February 27th. Journey is below after the breeding.

STATESMAN'S RED SILKS
Coco is from the "Red" litter sired by Statesman's Sea Captain at Redstone out of Statesman's Summer Silks born in October of 2017. Thank you, Ali, for these photos of Coco on the drive home after playing in the snow and then resting on the chair near the Christmas tree.

ANOTHER DAY OF PLAY IN YARD
The dogs in these videos: Journey (Statesman's Just Imagine at 12 months), Bader (Statesman's Genuine Risk at 7 months), and Marcus (Rocksprings Mighty Statesman at 6 months). It never gets old watching the dogs interact. Sometimes they just play together...sometimes they dig together...sometimes they have group retrieves...sometimes they do their own thing!

PLAYING AT STATESMAN
Bader, Marcus and Journey are enjoying the sunshine while playing in the back yard.

DARWIN'S SON AT FLORIDA SHOWS

GIBBS SUCCESSFUL SOUTH DAKOTA HUNT
Statesman's Too Good To Be True (Statesman's River Knight x Statesman's Ferencz) did a great job finding the birds! He is pictured with his field spaniel hunting buddy. Thank you, Gregory Family, for this photo.

A MEMORY OF CARDIGAN
Ch. Statesman's NoDouble (Kazval Call Collect x Rwyn Heavens Alliant) from the October 2004 "N RACEHORSE" litter loved field training as shown in this photo from 2007. Besides being a champion and started in the field, he loved being a reading therapy dog at a local school. Thank you, Commiskey Family, for this photo.

ROCKSPRINGS MIGHTY STATESMAN
Today was Marcus's second time doing field work with quail. Today he quartered with enthusiuasm from side to side just in front of his handler. A quail was then tossed in front him and he retrieved it back to his handler. Plans for future training dates are being arranged. Thank you, Henthorn Family, for this photo.

BADER, MARCUS, JOURNEY IN YARD
It's been cold and rainy in Georgia, but not cold enough to snow. The three pups are still happy checking out the yard.

GRACEE'S FIRST SNOW
Statesman's Goodness Gracious absolutely LOVES the snow. Thank you, Benbow Family, for this video.

SISTERS AT SEVEN MONTHS

A PHEASANT HUNT MEMORY
