Statesman's Genuine Risk (Statesman's Amicus x Statesman's Bold Venture) is shown her first time in water. Gentle forward pressure got her deep enough to swim. She now swims out towards open water on her own.

Statesman's Goodness Gracious (Statesman's River Knight x Statesman's Ferencz) is enjoying life at the lake house. After playing with her labradoodle friend, Yadi, Gracee likes to rest on the porch or pier. She will be soon be learning to ride in a pontoon boat and ultimately, a kayak. Statesman's Just Imagine was recently entered an International All Breed Canine Association dog show where she competed and was evaluated by three experienced judges. All three of the judges awarded her "Champion Quality Certificates" making Journey an international champion! The video shows the one of the judges examining Journey after she gaited around the ring. The photo shows the judge explaining to Susan Journey's strong points as well as where he would like to see

Maple (Statesman's Mastery of Maple) lives in an interesting situation, Her human dad's sister has two Welsh springers: Mac who is 9 years old and Moose who is 10 months old. The three Welsh springers love playing together! Thank you, Caroline for the video and photos.

Statesman's Masterpiece in the Making is doing well in puppy class and is learning to walk on a loose lead with distractions. She has started teething and her owners keep a supply of toys and chews to help her through this stage. Maggie also likes to chase birds when she gets the opportunity. She recently met a cat through a window and handled it like a trooper. Thank you, Mitchell family, for these photos.

The top two pieces of artwork were hand-drawn by Susan's friend, Elizabeth, and are of Statesman's Maverick "Nickel". The bottom piece of artwork is a gift from Elizabeth. She knew that Susan loved the same piece of artwork that had a golden retriever on it. Elizabeth sought out the designer of that artwork and asked if it would be possible to put a Welsh springer on it instead of the golden retriever. This new gift has a place waiting for it on the adjacent wall. T

This is Timmy, an English springer spaniel, who just won Best of Breed at one of the all breed dog shows taking place in Italy as part of the FCI World show events. Timmy's "style" is not typical of most show bred English springers currently in the USA, but it is typical of show bred English springers in almost every other country. Timmy looks much more like the American English springers from before the 1960s: long, lobular ears, lots of ticking/freckles, and tolerance

Ellie is signed up to start dock diving classes. Her owners thought it would be a good idea to see if she would even want to jump in the water. The videos below answer that question. Thank you, McMurtrey family, for these videos.

Journey, Bader, and Marcus have enjoyed having another Welsh visit for a while. Radley is the Welsh with the undocked tail.

Amber has been busy playing with her older sister Izzy the Airedale terrier. She has started puppy class and also takes walks around the neighborhood. She handles ear cleaning and nail trimming just fine. Plus, Amber is a quick learner and has just mastered the "down" command. Thank you, Clement family, for this video and update.
