JOURNEY DUE IN ONE WEEK
Statesman's Just Imagine is due to whelp her puppies in one week. In a few days she is going to have a puppy count x-ray at the vet. She is still quite active, but she is only able to eat a little bit of food at a time.

STATESMAN'S MOON TAXI
George is not only a beloved family companion, he is an active therapy dog. Thank you, Elizabeth, for these photos.

VIDEO: STATESMAN DOGS IN SNOW
Journey, Bader and Marcus are having a good time playing in the snow.

JOURNEY FIVE WEEKS PREGNANT
I think that Journey is maybe looking a little thick around her waist? She still races around the yard with Bader and Marcus. She does ask for more petting from me. She also has been telling Marcus to stop being so rough when he plays with her. Do you think that Journey looks pregnant?

GRACEE AT TWO YEARS OF AGE
Statesman's Goodness Gracious is doing well in her new home. She was spayed a couple weeks ago and is healing nicely. Thank you, Benbow family, for these photos.

ELLIE RESTING AFTER MOLE HUNT
Statesman's Ellie Mc of Twin Oaks has been very busy sniffing out mole holes. She also enjoys sniffing for rabbits and squirrels. She will soon start training to run in AKC FASTCAT events as well as Dock Diving. Ellie is a very versatile girl!

STATESMAN WELSH PLAYING
Though Bader and Journey are on the video, Marcus is the star of the day.

RHETT AND REYNE RACING EACH OTHER
Thirteen year old Statesman's High Hopes (Rhett on the left) is trying to get in front of seven year old Statesman's High Water Mark (Reyne on the right). Both are definitely having a good time! Thank you, Porter family, for this photo.

COLWYN AT PLAY
Statesman's Faithful Waters has been busy with dog shows again this year. He is shown playing while at home.

COCO AT THE FARM
Statesman's Red Silks is shown at her farm. Thank you, Ali, for this photo.

BOYS IN THE BIG YARD
Bobby (the bigger boy with more hair, and Marcus, the smaller boy, have been happy to play in their own yard.

CELEBRATING THE NEW YEAR
The girls are limited to the small yard as long as Journey remains in heat. They still get to enjoy fence running with the boys. Bader has more white and is a bit smaller than Journey who has more red markings. FENCE RUNNING

MANAGING GIRLS IN HEAT
When Statesman moved from Illinois to Georgia it was planned to have two fenced yards with two entrances. This works very well when a female is in heat and needs to remain separated from the boys. These videos show the boys in the big yard with the girls in the small yard. The boys, Marcus and Bobby, are on the left, with the girls, Bader and Journey, on the right. They all get some good exercising done with the fence running.

JOURNEY HAS BEEN BRED
Statesman's Just Imagine "Journey" was bred today to WyldWynd's In The Company of Masters "Bobby". She will have an ultrasound in four weeks to determine if she is pregnant or not. If she is pregnant the litter will be due around February 27th. Journey is below after the breeding.

STATESMAN'S RED SILKS
Coco is from the "Red" litter sired by Statesman's Sea Captain at Redstone out of Statesman's Summer Silks born in October of 2017. Thank you, Ali, for these photos of Coco on the drive home after playing in the snow and then resting on the chair near the Christmas tree.

ANOTHER DAY OF PLAY IN YARD
The dogs in these videos: Journey (Statesman's Just Imagine at 12 months), Bader (Statesman's Genuine Risk at 7 months), and Marcus (Rocksprings Mighty Statesman at 6 months). It never gets old watching the dogs interact. Sometimes they just play together...sometimes they dig together...sometimes they have group retrieves...sometimes they do their own thing!

PLAYING AT STATESMAN
Bader, Marcus and Journey are enjoying the sunshine while playing in the back yard.

DARWIN'S SON AT FLORIDA SHOWS
