Every year on this weekend, spaniel exhibitors gather in Knoxville, TN, for the American Spaniel Club Specialty shows. These shows are open only to flushing spaniels and are the highlight of the year for many spaniel people.
The photo below are two of the Welsh springer spaniel winners from the 2011 ASC show. On the left is Marta Stoneman and her dog, Statesman's Ambassador, who was Winners Dog and Best of Winners. On the right is Susan Riese with Ch. Slapestone's Sea Breeze, who was Best of Opposite Sex. Slapestone's Sea Breeze is the mother to Statesman's Ambassador.
