As I have done with most of my breeding females over the years, I place them into new homes as they get towards six years of age. It can be emotionally stressful for me, but if I want to keep my focus on breeding good Welsh springers, I need to keep my dog numbers low. The Kern family has adopted Chloe and she will now live in Florida where she will take walks in the woods and go fishing in boats. Her new name will probably be Zoe.
