Ch. Statesman's Let It Be RI participated in his first AKC Hunting Test recently. He hunted in front of Susan, going back and forth, searching for bird scent. He flushed a bird, but the gunners were not able to shoot at it. Then he found another bird and he flushed it, but this bird flew to low for the gunner to shoot. So the judges tossed a bird and Darwin retrieved. He completed his water retrieve and earned his first Junior Hunter qualifying leg...four are needed to achieve the title Junior Hunter.
