Pups are still totally dependent on Feren for their nutrition. However, in a week or so, the pups will get exposed to kibble soaked in goat milk. At about that time, their whelping box will be removed from inside the exercise pen and a pan with alfalfa pellets will be put in the pen to encourage them to pee/poop on plant material.
