Heather approached Susan as soon as she got into the IABC show building and said, "Hi, Miss Riese". Heather was a science student of Susan's in the early 2000s. On occasion Susan would mention her recent travels to dog shows or put an xray on the overhead projector for the students to see science in action. The students especially liked x-rays of pregant females soon to give birth. The x-rays are taken so the owner can know if all the pups get born. Heather now has several dogs that she shows or participates with in performance events. Seeing Heather after so many years and her involvement in dogs made Susan's day/week/month/year!
