A friend recently shared the photo below. There is a story that goes along with it. The dog, Bacon, was bred in Spain in the 1930s. The details of his sire and dam plus how the German pilot acquired Bacon are unknown. Bacon was poisoned and died at some time after this photo.
Bacon is lovely. He looks like Welsh i have seen and owned over my almost five decades with the breed. A lovely head that fits the standard, shiny coat that shows the iridescence on the white feathering, a beautiful package. We are trying to learn more about him.
